About

I started practising yoga in 1995 and undertook my first teacher training in 2003 in a Sivananda ashram in southern India. The course was an intensive month and left me with a desire to learn more. I had the opportunity to start teaching right way in a beautiful outdoor studio in southern Goa, which I did for 3 months before returning to the UK.

I then continued my teacher training at The Life Centre, now Yoga Campus, in 2004-2005. The course was amazing and enabled me to meet, practise and learn with some incredible teachers such as Rod Stryker, Judith Lasater, Liz Lark, and Sarah Litton. The training course has been accredited by The British Wheel of Yoga.

I continued my training by specialising in Pregnancy yoga and then Postnatal mother and baby yoga with the wonderful Uma Dinsmor-Tuli who is an inspiration! I started teaching pregnancy yoga in 2006. My prenatal pregnancy classes in Bristol are a joy to teach and a wonderful way for students to connect with their changing bodies and their babies. I always feel very honoured to be a part of this special time in a woman's life.

My yoga practice has been incredibly supportive and nourishing and has guided me though some very difficult times in my life. It has given me direction and a sense of being grounded, and I truly believe it is my calling and my duty to share my love of yoga with you all.
