The benefits of yoga in the workplace are plentiful, for a start they are delivered to you, making them extremely accessible. A regular lunch time class will reduce stress, muscle tension and pain due to sedentary working positions, and it can help reduce back pain. It will improve posture, digestion and flexibility and get you through afternoon energy slumps by actually increasing energy levels, mental alertness and clarity. All of my classes end with a guided relaxation practice so that you leave feeling calm, grounded and centred.
I got in touch with Raggs to enquire about arranging some in-work Yoga sessions for me and my colleagues. At the time I had no idea if this would be something she could do but she was so quick to reply and really keen and helpful from the start.
We arranged for her to come in and take a trail session and everyone loved it! Raggs has been teaching us weekly lunchtime Yoga now for 4 months and it’s by far our favourite time of the week.
The class differs each session but still helping to perfect what we have already covered – we all feel that we are getting better every week, it’s really nice to see the group progress.
Raggs is such a great teacher, as well as helping us relax and forget about work she also pushes us and builds our strength.
I would really recommend more companies to organise lunch time Yoga for their colleagues. We absolutely love it and wish we could have Raggs every lunchtime!
